Though I have called Brookside and wanted to ask them questions but the female manager seemed to be busy. I think I heard her saying that she was busy signing a lease agreement. She promised to reply my email in seconds... Yea yea yea... I don't think she will before I sleep because I have waited for an hour already.
While waiting for Brookeside Townhomes to reply my email, I checked out the Student Health Center of Mizzou. To my surprise, it is very informative and helpful! I really can't believe that the center has free yoga classes called the Yoga for Stress Management. (It's not really free because it's sponsored by our own paid student health fee.) I think they will only teach some simple yoga postures. Besides, they provide lessons on meditation called the iRest (Integrative Restoration, Yoga Nidra) which costs $40.00. It is stated that it helps to improve sleeps, reduce depression, anxiety and fear, improve interpersonal relations and increase sense of control in life. The class is 2 hours per week for the total of 8 weeks. These two are under stress reduction program. There are meal planning tips and sexual health advocate peer education provided by the center too.
http://studenthealth.missouri.edu/HP/stressresources.html
Mizzou also has Woman's Center. I guess other unis will also have that. But I really like the service provided by Mizzou. All these centers and information make me feel that Mizzou do care about the students. But for now, I have no idea of how those centers work, whether it's active and really helpful or not. Guess I shall just wait and see into it when I am there for my first semester.
Other than that, I also look through the upper level admission for Trulaske College of Business. To my concern, I found that upper level admission is only available in Feb and Sept. I definitely wish to get in and choose my major in Feb but I do not know whether I am able to do so. The eligibility is completion minimum of 45 semester credit hours and the admission is based on CGPA (Mainly is CGPA.) and availability of seat for the major chosen. However, the deadline is due in September for Feb admission. So, I have no idea whether I can apply or not because I thought I have to apply using my first semester result in Mizzou. I think I have to see my advisor. Trulaske has special extension for some students, such as good students who transferred into Trulaske and needs more time to complete requirements (I think I am in this category.) and so on, but extensions are for a semester only. On the other hand, it's scary to know that if the student has completed 60 or more semester hours but still couldn't get admitted to the Upper Level, then the student will be transferred out of business school!!! [怕怕]

No Turning Back
There's no turning back now. If there's a way to turn back time, I would change my decisions. It's impossible to say that I have never regretted. If I did, then I would be a big liar.
There's only one thing I would want to change, which is unis that I applied.
First time knowing University of Wisconsin - Madison, I thought of applying. I think it's a pretty good school. Reasons I gave up?
1. Too many people are applying.
2. I thought it was hard to get admitted and I thought I must be admitted by Madison.
3. Priority date was 15th Dec 2009. I thought I must submit before that day.
4. We were too late to be officially together, hence, we don't have much time to decide which uni we want to go together because we have our own plans before we are together.
What now?
Going to University of Missouri-Columbia alone.
I was admitted by this uni in the end of Feb and received my I-20 in March, I think. This is the reason why I gave up applying to Ohio State University (OSU) in the last minute. My thought: no point applying to another extra uni when you have secured one. Don't waste the money.
Ended up being alone in Mizzou and four of my friends are going to OSU together.
It's fine. What's more? My first choice uni, University of Washington, gave me reply in late of June! So, while waiting for it, I can't do a thing for Mizzou! In the end, what I got was "Thank you for having interest in UW". How sad that was! Due to this factor, I am not able to get the housing I want. Spending all night to find for other housings, and the result? Most of the places are full! All my courage ran out last night. Tears flowing helplessly.
In the end, I found a place called Brookside Townhomes. Called them. Lucky to know that there are three rooms left for the plan I want which is the Four Rooms: Walkout. The place looks nice. (From photos on website) It's expensive. The basic is already $424.75 though the website states $387.75. With furnish (I don't know whether it's fully furnished or semi-furnished), they add-on $31.25, making the rent to be $456.00 per month. I dare not sign up for the utilities package because $474.75 per bedroom. ($50.00 per month) I don't have sufficient money to pay for the total rent all together every month if I sign up for utilities. So, have to save on electricity. Besides, the houses are 5.1 miles away from my uni! Though there are free buses every 30 minutes to fetch the residents, but I think I still have to prepare early because the journey might take 15-20 mins, not including the walking I have to do after reaching campus. Breakfast will be prepared every morning. It's a good service but I do not know whether it is healthy and tasty or not. The manager even said that I will only sign my lease agreement on the day I arrive US. So, I have to pay on the spot, sign on the spot and move in on the spot since she said I can move in anytime in August. However, the lease ends on 15th July every year. I don't know where am I going to live from that date until 14th August. Gonna try looking for some temporary room when I am there in the states. Hmm...what else? Oh! Roommate matching service is provided. Hopefully I end up living with pretty good roommates. Weight room, pool, internet are included in the rent too, together with hushwall! I like this criteria. I can have the room all to myself without worrying about disturbing others, especially when I webcam with my bf. Unlike other living places, Brookside Townhomes has no computer labs which provide free printing. Guess I'll have to find a solution for it.
Link to the Brookside Townhomes to see photos and floorplans: http://www.brooksidetownhomes.com/units/four_four_wo
Next would be my visa. All the SEVIS fee, visa application fee and service fee are paid. Now just left with...oh ya! I forgot about visa photo! Gonna find one day to take it. Totally forgot about it. So, I just left with the form, visa photo and interview. Lot of things to be done actually. I've not even start buying winter clothes, luggage bags and etc... Can't believe that the day to fly to US is so near. Start to feel a bit scared. ~.~ NO MORE HOLIDAYS... wu~wu~wu~ =(

Yeah! First Outing after Working and in June
Guess where I went.
This time I didn't go far.
Still in SP. Maybe 20 minutes away from home?
Starts with 'V'!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------> VILLAGE MALL!
Ever since Village Mall having cinema and leisure mall, I have not been there. I didn't even know that there's a big leisure mall where I can play the jungle arcade (forgot its real name), time crisis 4, time crisis 2, house of dead 4, etc... these are a few of my fav, particularly time crisis 4 = BEST! Oh ya, for those who plays time crisis, please do not play time crisis 3. It's no fun, maybe because it's too hard. So, do not waste your time and money in it. Better go for Time Crisis 4! I sound like fans of it. XD Maybe I am. ^^
My outing started at 5pm, right after I have bathed. Then, upon arriving, I was lucky to see two beauties. One was my ex-schoolmate and another one was her friend, which I don't know her, but she's quite pretty too. Then we chitchatted awhile on the way going to the cinema to buy tickets. (They were going to the cinema too and they didn't know where it is.) So, ah peng and I bought the tickets, RM 11.00 each, 7.30pm. Deng deng deng~ PRINCE OF PERSIA! It's not a bad movie after all. To me, it's surprising since I thought it's going to be just an ordinary movie but it managed to amaze me. Well, it's a movie to watch if you have no idea what and which movie should choose now. =D Too bad that the movie "When in Rome" is only available at mid-night! I wanted to watch it when I saw the trailer while helping ah peng to check the showtime of all the movies in Village Mall. Never mind, shall ask someone to dl the movie for me one day, if I could remember. Hehe... However, I'm looking forward to the "Karate Kid"!!! I think it would be a great movie. Hopefully it won't disappoint me. =)
After buying tickets, I couldn't hold my hunger any longer. Thus, we chose Pizza Hut (actually, should be just him who chose it as I do not hope to eat food which I can eat most of the time in US!) Each of us ordered single set of pizza, which was RM 8.50 per set, with a mushroom soup, glass of pepsi, plate of bread stick and small pizza. He ordered triple chicken and... I forgot what I ordered. Triple chicken taste better.
We spent one hour in having the meal! When we were in front of the leisure mall, it's about 7.00 pm. So, we played Time Crisis 4 for half an hour but I didn't manage to finish it. (My skill sucks) Ah peng finished the game in 30 mins and using only one credit. He is so pro in Time Crisis. About 7.35 pm, we rushed into the cinema. We missed new trailers =( but it's fun to see him play arcade.
Done with the movie, it was just 9.40 pm. So, we played the jungle arcade. The game was exciting and thrilling! We felt tired, exhausted and nervous. We kept gasping for air. Haha! 喘啊!For the first time, I used lesser token than him! Wahahaha! He used 3 credits and I only used 2 to get to the same point. However, we didn't finish the game as it's time to go home. His friends were rushing him to go CC too. Thus, we leaved Village Mall around 10 pm. On the way back, went to McDonald to have a sundae cone to soothe our dry throat. Too bad, we were told by the staff that the sundae was a bit liquefying. So, we didn't buy it in the end.
Finally, I reached home at 10.20 pm. Satisfied with the 5 hours outing but to be honest, not fully satisfied due to the incomplete of Time Crisis 4. (Hope ah peng won't read this.) XD
He said he might call me out to have tea time (LAKSA!!!) tomorrow. :D See whether this event is really on tomorrow.
Goodnight! It's time to O~ O~ lo!!!

What I Have Done in May
I have no idea what to say. Maybe it's because I have too much to say but I don't know how to say them. Recently, someone had complained to me about my blog. He said, "you have not updated your blog for centuries!" Ya ya, I know. I have things to say but too bad I have no photos to show together, plus, I was too lazy.

Let's start with what I have done during this holiday.
Mine is pretty much normal, or I should say, BORING. Unlike others, I don't get to go to trips with friends, touring nor travelling. Right after packing all my things and got back home, I indulged myself in playing FB and games. Through FB, I found out lots of my friends had done their medical check-up and passport. Thus, it motivated me to do the same. So, I was busy for 2 weeks with those things. (Because I have to go to hospital for 3 times and 7th of June would be the 4th time. =.=") Unlike someone I know, he doesn't have to wait or go to the hospital for so many times. He just went there for a few hours then he is done with the check-up and all the tests. Even TB test's result (Mantoux test) can be written at home! Plus, he doesn't have to pay a cent!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
TRIP
Ok, I did go to a trip, but with my mom and her friends, me being the only kid! My mom and I went to Hatyai. We woke up as early as 4.45 am and took off at 5.30 am. Reach Hatyai around eight something. We went to temple and waited for hours to see the sifu. Don't look down on these things. I started to believe in what the sifu said. Do you know that he knows what major I am taking without people telling him?! I only filled my name and my birthday. That's all. They have a book which can calculate some numbers out, and those numbers symbolizes certain things like number of kids (even number of boys and girls, he knows!), years of working in certain company, years of marriage etc... People would think it's normal that he knows how many years I studied but among of all the people there, only my mom and I know what my major is. Somehow, I believe him. Right after visiting the temple, we went to have our lunch since it was 1 pm already. We had our lunch in a Thai restaurant. The food was delicious and awesome. We had crab meat, seafood tomyam ( I prefer M'sia tomyam more), salad, pork, fried vege (I don't know the name of the vege, but it was one of the best dishes) etc, only RM 22 per person. Oh ya, the rice given was blue in color. First time in my life, I saw blue rice and it's tasty, not oily or sticky.
After having meal, it's SHOPPING TIME! We went to a market. There's lot of bags, food, shoes. My mom and I didn't buy a lot. We bought two pairs of shoes for my dad, one high heels and a handbag for me.( will upload the picture of the shoes and handbag if possible.) Then my mom bought some sort of oil for massage and some doi doi, the green, light brown and dark brown triangle kuih. We had coconut and sugar cane drinks at the end of the shopping trip.
Here is the bag. Taken on 6th June 2010. In Ah Peng's car.

Don't ever think that women will never get tired by shopping. Hence, we went to have body massage. My mom and her friends went for it but I was just sleeping there, beside my mom while she was having her relaxing massage which cost her RM 50. It was comfortable to be sleeping there in air-conditioned room for I think one hour or two. Maybe I was too tired.
Right after that, we started our journey back. Luckily, we didn't have our dinner there because if not, we would have come back later than mid-night. The border toll was jammed, with lorries and trucks. We were stuck there for quite a long time.
That's the Hatyai trip with mom.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After that one day trip, my life was back to be normal and boring again. Done my passport and renewed driving licence. Played FB games and mahjong. However, this time with new activity, which is online shopping! Created an E-bank account and I started buying stuff. I bought clothes, masks, and cosmetics. Those products are from Korea or Taiwan, which I plan to bring to the states. Shopping online is so much easier but the bad thing is you have to pay the postage fee, which is usually RM 6 and transaction service fee, RM 2. Thus, you can imagine that I have spent lots of my time facing my lappy everyday, looking at clothes and cosmetic products. Besides, I was busy reading. Nah~ I won't be so hardworking reading textbook. I was busy with novels. XD Read a few novels, even read back one novel I have read before.
Starting the 21st of May until 30th May, I wasn't wasting my time too much on FB and games, not even at all for online shopping. For the reason of I AM WORKING! From 1 pm until 10 at night, no doubt I was exhausted. I slept less than 8 hours per day because I webcam with my boyfriend and use those free time to play games and read novels. For those who have read novel before, you should know that you can't just quit the novel once you have started reading one chapter.
Finally, I was so relieved to finish that 10 days of work. I thought I could sleep all day long the next day. Guess what. My parents were "discussing" over a matter at 8 am in the morning downstairs. FYI, my dad speaks quite loud and even louder when he is discussing (somehow, to me, he sounds more like arguing than discussing all the time). For those who know me well, I am a light sleeper. That's how I was awaken from my precious sleep! I slept at around 3.30 am and I became a superhero for waking up at 8.10 am! Don't forget about me having sleep deprivation for 10 days!
And now, I am here, updating my blog. Again, I am going to sleep at 3.30 am. =.=||

Times Square Trip on Public Holiday
难得有假期,而且刚好完成我小考,所以,肯定是shopping time!
自然的,绪轩被我拉去Times Square咯!哈哈!
十点半,开始旅程!
Items Bought:

Here is the small bag for me to keep the purse. Nice, right?
Next would be Couple Watch!
I've been finding this watch for a long time since the first time I saw it in Times Square.
Then, I failed to find it when I went to Times Square again to meet with Yi Wen which was during Thaipusam.
Luckily, I found it yesterday. =P hehe! His watch is black color. Mine is silver white.

Because of the light reflection and maybe handphone camera resolution, I couldn't take a clear photo of it. But I think the pattern of it is quite clear. It's like a flower, opened up with its petals written with 12, 3, 6 and 9.

I lost my white jacket when I came back from JB end of last year. So, he promised me to buy me a jacket. I found my favorite jacket in one of my favorite shops in TS.
Followed by a small jacket which I wanted to match with my dress. (RM 25)

Items Bought:
长皮夹 (RM 40)
(Back, but don't know why this photo is not horizontal one.)
Inside the purse. I love the part where I can keep my coins.
There's a place for me to keep my sim card and memory card as well. =)

Have been finding this kind of small jacket for some time already. At last I found one that suits me, plus it's not expensive like one jacket that I saw in my hometown during CNY. 45 bucks!
Handbag (RM 25)
Handbag (RM 25)
Since my old one is already tear and wear, so I have to buy a new one. As usual, my handbag isn't expensive or branded. This one is a very simple and plain handbag. Its function is to carry books to class. Heehee. =)
I plan to buy a backpack in the near future. I saw one in TS yesterday. It was dark red and white. Cost: 53 bucks. But somehow, I think it's too big for me but he said it's good to bring it to US. =.=" I will consider about it first. =P
KFC as lunch while Subway as dinner. If possible, I plan to go to Jusco to have sushi in sushi king since my roomie said the service there is not bad. =)
This trip might be common to others but to me, it's awesome! Maybe because it's the first time we really shop together in TS. But he's very tired after that. Went to bed right after his dinner. Feel sorry about that. hehe.

First Christmas with Kam
This year Christmas is a bit different from the past as I wasn't in my own home but, in other's.
His family doesn't celebrate Christmas. Christmas to them is just like any other days, same as my family too. So, what have I done during Christmas?
On 24th, Kam and I were rushing to bus Terminal 2 for our bus, scheduled at 8:30 pm. However, because of the delay of KTM, we have failed to catch the bus even with taxi. So, there goes my 20 bucks for the taxi. In the end, thanks to the bus driver for 9:30 pm, which is another bus to Larkin, we got the ticket by paying extra 20 bucks per person. Felt so sorry for the bus driver because the ticket seller of the bus company didn't want to let us do that. Instead, she wants us to buy a new ticket, which is 50 bucks. (I don't know whether it's for 2 persons or per person.) I was so mad at that time that I wanted to curse the lady. (I know~ I was a bit evil.) However, we managed to arrive Larkin bus station safely. And, thanks to the bus driver. God will always bless you, uncle.
Arrived at Kam's house at 1 am sth. Felt so sorry for causing his parents to sleep late. Paisei~
25th => everything is just like any other days. The difference is the children that are around, a 2-year-old boy and a 1-year-old boy. Both are Kam's big brother's kids.
One special event happened in the night. Electricity was cut off, maybe for maintenance. At the same time, Kam and I were too hungry that we were forced to cook in dark. Actually, he's the one that did the cooking while I was waiting for my supper. Hehehehe!

-Left one was his, right one was mine-
With a candle at the center, this was our romantic supper.
-Kam took a photo of me after he finished his supper.-
What a stalker.
Overall, it was a common but peaceful Christmas where there were no crowds screaming and shouting.
p/s: thx dear, for preparing supper and washing dishes. =)
